Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What do common payroll terms mean?
Understanding your paycheck is easier when you're familiar with key terms:
  • Gross Pay – Your total W2 earnings before taxes or deductions.
  • Net Pay – What you take home after taxes and deductions.
  • Deductions – Money taken out for things like taxes, insurance, or retirement plans.
  • Compensation – Total pay including salary, wages, bonuses, and other income.
  • Pay Stub – A summary of your earnings and deductions for a specific pay period.
Who is my company administrator?

Your company administrator is typically someone in your HR or payroll department who manages employee access and account settings in Excelforce. If you're unsure, ask your manager or supervisor to direct you.

I can’t log into Excelforce. Who should I contact?

Please contact your company’s payroll or HR administrator directly. Excelforce support does not assist employees directly with login issues due to security and privacy policies. Your payroll admin can reset your credentials or unlock your account.

How do I find my username, company ID, and original password?
These details are provided in your Welcome Email from your employer or payroll administrator.
  • Company ID / Code: Used to identify your organization in Excelforce
  • Username & Temporary Password: Used for your first-time login
If you didn’t receive this email, reach out to your company’s payroll or HR contact.
How do I file my taxes?
Depending on your company's agreement, Excelforce provides your W-2, 1095, or 1099 documents through the platform.
  • You can view your tax forms in Excelforce by following this guide.
  • You can then upload these to your tax filing software (like TurboTax or H&R Block) or give them to your accountant.
What if there is an error on my paycheck, W-2, 1095, or 1099?

Contact your payroll administrator right away. Only your employer can review and correct payroll or tax form errors.

What are unemployment taxes?
The federal government, and in most cases state governments, have unemployment taxes (SUTA/UI) that are deducted from the taxable wages of an employee. Depending on the state laws, employers may also be required to pay the unemployment taxes as well. The unemployment tax amounts collected go to fund the federal and/or state unemployment plans. The unemployment benefit payments are handled through the unemployment insurance providers or state agencies.
My company no longer uses Excelforce or is no longer in business, and I need my pay information. What should I do?

If your company no longer uses Excelforce, or if the company has closed, we recommend first attempting to contact a former representative from the HR or Payroll department. They will advise on how to retrieve your historical pay information.
